The Desert Vista Dog Park is one of Fountain Hills most used amenities! The first official dog park in Arizona, Desert Vista Dog Park is rated one of the top dog parks in the country. The Off-Leash Recreational Facility is a 3-acre fenced facility that allows dogs to run, socialize and play. The Dog Park is divided into 2 fenced areas, one for larger dogs and the other smaller canines. The large / active dog area can be accessed from entrances on either Tower Drive or Desert Vista. The small / passive dog area can only be accessed from Tower Drive. The dog park hours are 6am -9pm and the park does have lights that will come on at dusk. Trees and covered gazebos provide for shade and there are water fountains and hoses located at various areas to keep the pups and people hydrated, ADOG provides kiddie pools for the dogs to play and keep cool in too.

The park is closed from 8:30am – 10:30 am every Monday for landscaping and maintenance.
